It’s International Women’s Day this weekend. And whilst I don’t think we need a day to celebrate all the bloody amazing stuff women do – I think it’s a nice time to honour, appreciate and celebrate the women in your life that make a difference to you.
I firmly believe that gender is a fluid construct rather than a fixed one. This perspective embraces anyone who identifies as a woman, as well as non-binary peeps who connect with feminine qualities.
Oh man – it’s such a wonderfully colourful, raw, liberating yet painful experience to be a woman in this world sometimes, isn’t it?! You are doing a great job babes – we got this!

Angela and Tiia are experts in attention to detail and making sure vibes are just right for you to relax and do some deep spiritual stuff in. If you haven’t been to one of these studio and you live in Leeds – it’s well worth a visit. I learn SO very many things from both these studios about creating a quality experience for customers – so trust you are in the best of hands.

Where would I be without Tracy and her cakes? I like to romanticise as many moments of life as possible and I love a cake to mark an occasion.
Lux Vegan cakes is a small independent cake making business run from Tracy's home bakery and covering Bradford & Leeds, and West Yorkshire.
She makes bespoke and personalised vegan cakes for all occasions and caters for other intolerances and preferences can be catered for such as gluten free, nut free, lactose free and alcohol free.

The Arch Barn Studio is a lovingly restored studio space, with colour immersion mood lighting, surround sound, under floor heating and exposed beams!

Alis has beautifully cultivated a community that celebrates joy, romance, and body acceptance. Her events and retreats radiate playfulness, and her refreshing approach to redefining romance, as something you can gift to yourself and nurture in platonic friendship is truly inspiring. Plus the aesthetics and vibes are on point.

Sophie is a ray of sunshine and she makes the most beautiful handmade calligraphy for weddings, events and gifts. She also hosts calligraphy workshops from time to time which are a great opportunity to tap into your creative flow and learn a new skill. She is also happens to be a top babe - so you I know you will love her!
Dessert Shop
Elizabeth crafts the most indulgent Greek-inspired desserts! Her passion for tradition and flavour shines through in every handmade treat. If you’re craving something sweet and buttery for your next dinner party or gathering, go check her out. She is based in the Leeds area.
